Below are the five steps of the full-mouth rehabilitation process. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call. We will be delighted to help you.
Step One: Scheduling Your Appointment
The first thing you must do to get started with the full-mouth rehabilitation process is to schedule your appointment! Please do so by contacting our team. We will work hard to find a date and time that is convenient for your personal schedule.
Step Two: Undergoing Examinations and X-Rays
The next step in the process is to undergo your X-rays and examinations! This will help us get to know your smile. We will be able to look closely at your problems and determine where we should begin.
Step Three: Creating A Treatment Plan
After we get to know your smile, the next step is to create a treatment plan. We will help you choose from any of our restorative options. Together, we will custom design a treatment that will meet your specific needs. You can choose from:
All-on-4 Dental Implants – This same-day implant procedure will allow you to leave our office with a brand-new smile in just one day! We can extract any teeth necessary, place dental implants, and load them with a restoration all in just one procedure. This is a great option for patients who need to replace an entire arch or even an entire mouth of teeth.
Implant-Supported Dentures – You can also replace your teeth using implant-supported dentures. Removable dentures can sometimes slide around or even pop out — securing them with dental implants ensures that they stay exactly where they are supposed to.
Step Four: Your Procedures
Once you have chosen your procedures, we will help you schedule them out. The time it takes to complete your procedure may vary greatly depending on your situation. Some full-mouth rehabilitations can be done in one day, others take months. Talk to our team if you are concerned about this aspect.
Step Five: Enjoying Your New SmileRead Transcript
I was very grateful that he was able to point it out, not just fix the toothache, but point it out and get me in the right direction to where I wouldn't have to have dentures.
There's the side of the dentistry that most people have a little apprehension going to the dentist. The other side of it was the cost. It's not inexpensive to do it, but it was well worth it. I still remember the conversation that Dr. Porter had with me on that. He liked it to the fact that most people will go down and spend $50,000 on a new car and won't think anything about it, but you ask them to spend 10, 20, $30,000 on their teeth, it's going to last them the rest of their life, versus a car that's going to be three to five years. They can't seem to invest that money in themselves. The more and more I processed it and realized it, it was a good investment.
I didn't realize how self conscious I was at having small teeth until after I have what I would call normal size teeth now. You find yourself being more engaged and more active, willing to smile more. It just gives you a little more confidence, I think.
Once your procedures are complete and you are all healed, you will be able to go back to your normal life. You will be able to eat the food you love and smile with confidence!
