Effective, Reliable Orthodontic Solutions
Are you looking into orthodontic care for you or your child? At Synergy Dental Center, we offer numerous orthodontic treatment options. Let’s talk about these options and why you should choose braces by Dr. David Porter and our team.
Braces are sometimes the most effective way to achieve a straight, balanced smile that will help you look your best, but that’s not always the case. For children especially, we can often correct malocclusion by addressing the growth of the jaw over time, leaving your child with a beautiful smile and little to no need for braces!
A straight smile can actually improve your oral health, too! When you have alignment problems, there are more places in your smile for disease- and decay-causing bacteria to hide. When you have a straight smile, everything is aligned properly and the hiding places are minimized! Worry less about tooth decay and gum disease when you have a beautiful, balanced smile.

Actually I've already sent quite a people here, because they're available. If you need something, I don't care if a Friday, or what time of day, there's someone here that can help you. The people here that work here are always being educated, going to school, learning more treatments like for headaches. Just ongoing education to make sure, using the newest equipment. You always have a window to look out when you're getting worked on (laughs) which is calming. Just been impressed with how educated, and informed everyone is that works here.
At Synergy Dental Center, we offer a wide range of options. We offer both traditional and aesthetic alternative options as well as preventive options. We will be happy to examine your situation and help you determine the best course of action for your smile.
Treat Malocclusion Before Braces are Needed – Dr. Porter is a big believer in treating the entire mouth, not just straightening your teeth. Advanced solutions like ALF (Advanced Lightwire Functionals) and the Crozat appliance are going to not only straighten your (or your child’s) teeth, but these tools will actually adjust the shape of your jaw to create lasting comfort and health.
Traditional Braces – This type of treatment is probably what comes to mind when you think “braces.” Traditional braces work for most cases of misalignment and malocclusion.
Short-Term Options – Are you suffering from only mild alignment problems? We offer Six Month Smiles, a short-term braces option that can correct your smile in just six months! This option even uses clear ceramic brackets and tooth-colored wires.
Clear Aligners – Looking for our most comfortable and aesthetically appealing orthodontic option? Clear aligners are the answer for you! We offer two types: ClearCorrect and Invisalign. Both of these options are great for patients who want convenient, discomfort-free orthodontic care.
Your First Orthodontic Appointment
When you schedule an orthodontic consultation at our office, we will walk you through the examination and preparation process. We will first take some images of your smile and possibly do some impressions. This will allow us to get a good idea of what we are working with. We will then discuss your options with you. We will recommend an orthodontic solution, if necessary, but the final decision is yours to make. We will be happy to help guide your decision and give you all of the information you need. Once we have decided on the plan, we can schedule out your next visits and get started on your treatment!
